International Mother Language Day

Programs were organised in Kasturba Public School on the occasion of Mother Language Day. The programs were presented in the school assembly. School principal Malini S.V gave the message in mother tongue. Nimra Fatima of class 8 moderated the program. The program started with prayer. The oath and the recitation of the news were in Malayalam. School Principal Malini SV spoke about the greatness of mother tongue. Class VIII student Sarah Batur recited the language pledge. Students of 7th and 8th class sang Bhasha Geet as a group. The children also sang poetry describing the characteristics of the mother tongue. Shasin, a class 8 student, delivered a speech on the importance of mother tongue.The students of class 8 also presented a short Ranga Vishkara that illustrates the characteristics of the mother tongue. The students also displayed attractive posts that convinced the importance of mother tongue.
