National Youth Day or Rashtriya Yuva Diwas

National Youth Day, or Rashtriya Yuva Diwas, was observed on January 12th to honor Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary, a revered philosopher and spiritual leader. This day aims to raise awareness about the rights of individuals in India, with the primary goal of inspiring the youth and promoting Swami Vivekananda's ideals for a brighter future.

In commemoration of National Youth Day, Kasturba Public School, Chirakkal, organized diverse activities on January 12th, 2024, from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Under the guidance of Principal Mrs. Malini S.V., a special assembly commenced at 9:30 am, featuring participation from 8th and 9th-grade students in various programs. Neha Chandrasekhar of grade IX B delivered a speech highlighting the significance of National Youth Day and Swami Vivekananda's contributions. Arjun Mahesh of grade IX recited a poem, and a group song was performed by students of class IX. Following the assembly, a Marathon run for 8th and 9th-grade students took place, accompanied by a Yoga-Cum-Meditation session. Participants shared their photos on social media with the designated hashtag.

The students of Kasturba Public School enthusiastically engaged in all activities associated with National Youth Day, showcasing their keen interest in commemorating this occasion.
