ATTENDANCE

Every pupil shall put in at least 80% attendance in a School year and those who fail in doing so will not be promoted to higher classes. Students shall apply for leave in the space provided for that purpose in the school diary duly signed by the parent. Unauthorised absence for a period of 15 days will involve the removal of the pupil’s name from the rolls. Long absence on medical ground should be supported by medical certificates.

Pupils should wear full uniform on all working days and no one will be permitted to attend the class unless properly dressed.

Pupils should be polite in their behaviour to all and shall conduct themselves with dignity and discipline. They shall greet the teachers at their first meeting inside the campus and the classroom.

The class begins with the morning Assembly which includes Prayer, pledge, news, thoughts for the day, Principal’s brief discourse, moral values etc. All pupils should reach the school before the morning Assembly.

As the medium of instruction is English all the students shall converse in English with their fellow-students as well as their teachers throughout.

Misbehaving, using vulgar and filthy language are liable for stern disciplinary action.

Pupils should show respect to teachers by standing up when the teachers enter and leave the class.

Late comers will take the permission of the Principal before they enter the class.

Costly and fancy ornaments shall not be worn while coming to school.

Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings.

Class room and school premises should be neatly kept. School property should not be destroyed or damaged. Pupils should be particularly careful not to throw waste paper, fruit skin etc. except into the bins provided for the purpose.

Books, magazines or any like things not recommended by the teachers should not be brought to the class.

Home works should be done regularly. Habitual negligence of school works, dishonesty or other acts of misconduct will involve such disciplinary action including expulsion.

All books should be covered and kept neat and clean.

If a child is suffering from any contagious or infectious disease he/she is not allowed to attend the school.

Pupils of one class are not allowed to enter other class rooms.

The School diary should be brought to the class daily.

All pupils must move to and from their classes in an orderly manner one behind the other.
