Reading Day celebration 2025

Kasturba Public School celebrated Reading Day on June 19. School Principal Smt. Malini S.V spoke about the importance of reading. Student Sreenandana Biju of class 8B read the reading pledge. The Principal released the handwritten magazine "Mashikkoottu" prepared by students of class 10A. The school's Literary Club was also inaugurated. Student Sreenima Ashok of class 9A recited a poem highlighting the greatness of reading. A group song was sung by the students of class 7. Speeches were delivered in various languages on the importance of reading. Beautiful book covers of famous works were prepared and the "Pustaka Vriksha" (Book Tree) was decorated. An exhibition of famous works was also held. Various competitions such as reading, story writing, voice power quiz, book review presentation, alphabet drawing, poem composition, and pronunciation test were organized.
